Prims travelled to Nottinghamshire to face bottom of the table Radcliffe Olympic.
This was not a pretty game throughout the full ninety minutes.
In the first half Prims had the majority of the possession but could not find the target and trouble the Radcliffe goalkeeper. Radcliffe’s threat came more from Prims attacks when long clearances were catching the Prims defence sleeping and on a couple of occasions Andy Fretwell denied Radcliffe taking the lead. The half time score of 0-0 was the correct score.
Into the second half it was pretty much the same with Prims getting in to good positions but failing to trouble the home keeper. The game changed on 58 minutes when Tyler Martin headed in at the far post unmarked from an excellent right wing cross. Prims started to put the pressure on Radcliffe but their final ball let them down. With 10 minutes to go Prims thought they had equalised when a Jordan Leeming header was goal bound only for Radcliffe to clear it off the line. Prims were adamant that it had crossed the line but as the assistant referee was not in a position to see as he was 15 yards down the pitch and not up with play, so play continued
In added time Joss Walmsley surged forward and had a shot from 20 yards which was tipped over. From the resultant corner Kev Morrow headed the ball back across the goal for Oliver Ball to head home in the 94th minute.
