Hawkins grabs a brace to secure three points at Waltham Forest

Rovers forward Ashley Hawkins grabbed a goal in each half, the winner coming with just 3 minutes remaining.
It was a gutsy performance by Trenkels men as they secured the vital three points to keep alive their hopes of survival in the Division One North.

Hawkins pounced on a through ball in the 18th minute to fire the ball across the keeper and into the far post. With Forest scoring an equaliser shortly after, it was left to a fretful second half to decide the match.
With Jay Nash injuring his foot, Assistant Manager Gary Ansell threw on replacement Dan Williams whose sublime volleyed through ball was equally well placed past the keeper with minutes remaining to take his tally to 3 goals in 2 games.
