Teams

Today we have two young and ambitious senior men’s teams, the 1st XV playing in Counties 2 Kent (Level 8) and the 2nd XV in Sussex 2. With the introduction of two new coaches the squad is going from strength to strength and will be in well placed in a very competitive league. The club also have an occasional Veterans side with many of the club’s old boys and an exciting plan for a new Women’s XV expanding the game to all in Hastings!

H&B is proud of its family links, throughout the club in the past and present we have many examples of families involved in the club; brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, and grandparents have all represented us as players, coaches, referees, club officials and county committee members. Some years ago we had three families filling six places in the 1stXV starting line-up,

The club has an active social calendar also, regular events, Funday’s and Socials organised by the social committee at the club, one of the standouts is the clubs Santa night. Event’s such as these will usually be attended by 50+ members and guests. The clubhouse is currently in a great state of repair with the space being hired out most weekends for birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations.
