Two of the world’s oldest gay rugby union teams will be going head to head to celebrate the history and achievements of inclusive rugby. Joining them will be the newly formed Liverpool Tritons.
The Spartans 1's with take on the King Cross Steelers 1's in a fixture which began 18 years ago when they became the first two gay rugby teams to play each other in August 1999.

The players and officials at the Broughton park site when finished will travel over to Sale Sports Club site on the tram for food (hog roast) and drinks in the function room. The England and Ireland game is on at 5pm.
All the competing Clubs are inclusive as their rugby playing membership comprises of Gay, Bi-sexual and heterosexual men who play rugby together.
