Sale ladies finish 2nd in regional tournament

1st medals of the season for Sale Ladies
Sale Ladies 1st team finished 2nd in a 24 team regional tournament in Manchester on Saturday 2nd September.
With heat more accustomed to a good July summers day, Sale played 5 group games winning 4 and drawing 1 which accumulated enough points to take them straight into the final,
With tired limbs on show from both teams Sale conceded an early goal against Bolton.
The rest of the game had Sale with most of the possession but not able to find the equalising goal. Overall a great opening set of fixtures in preparing for the coming league season
Also congratulations to Bolton on their win.
