Eastern Counties Fixtures

The Eastern Counties Senior Men’s team begin their campaign in the top division of the Bill Beaumont County Championship on the 6th May at Cambridge RFC, kick off 2.15pm.
This will be followed by another home fixture at Cambridge University's home ground at Grange Rd on the 13th May, again with a 2.15pm kick off. The final fixture in the group stage is away to Yorkshire and will be played at Hull Iionians RFC on the 20th May this time with a 3pm kick off.

The aim of the team is to improve on last year’s excellent performances in the top flight of the competition for the first time and make it into the top two spots after the group stage, which will guarantee a place in the Final. This will be played at Twickenham on Sunday 28th May at 12noon, as a curtain raiser to the England vs Barbarians which kicks off at 3pm.

Supporters are most welcome at all the fixtures. I’m certain that team would welcome some vocal support at the games, especially at the away fixture against Yorkshire, who will be looking to reverse the 45-33 defeat they suffered at Grange Rd, in last year’s competition.
