Dubi Moves Again

By Simon Cullum

There was news coming from the MEL Group Stadium late on Sunday evening that recently recruited striker Dubi Ogbonna had left the club.

Having only signed from Soham Town Rangers on 5th February, the Nigerian born front man became the subject of a seven day approach from United Counties League leaders Kings Lynn Town. He was allowed to speak to the Norfolk club part managed by ex AFC player Gary Setchell, and he decided to join them. AFC Sudbury manager Nicky Smith said Im sorry to lose him but they offered him a much better package to join them and probably the lure of joining a club who are not only top of their league but also in the quarter-finals of the FA Vase was too much for him to turn down. Ogbonna scored one goal in his three appearances for AFC. :
