Camels believe experience was the key

By Paul Hayes

Wadebridge player-coach Nick Yelland felt his side's experience at a higher level proved crucial in the 20-17 win over St Austell in the Tribute Cornwall Cup final.

The report from the Monday's Western Morning News makes interesting reading (see link).

Nick Yelland acknowledges that "St Austell threw the kitchen sink" at his Camels side but believes ultimately that their big game experience saw them through.

On another note, I would like to add that I have never played for Penryn RFC or indeed with Nick Yelland, although I did play against him a few times when he was an upcoming teenager in the 90s!
