A well deserved three points for the Pedlars saw them rise from the bottom of the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division. A relatively equal first half, the visitors gaining advantage from the wind blowing directly down the field and looking for the hit and run, but well matched by the Pedlars defence. Walsham loosing a player with forty minutes gone in the first half, a straight red, leaving the referee no option.
Swaffham taking the lead in the 62nd minute, Alan Woodcock with a long through ball, Alex Vincent with a first time strike, left footed volley from eighteen yards across goal to net top right hand side. Joe Jackson making it two three minutes later, Ben Champion driving into the left hand wing, crossing to find the head of Jackson eight yards out, the finish simple but exact.
The points in the bag but much more to be done to retain position and hope that the FA's review of leagues constitution fairs in favour for the Pedlars.
Many thanks in anticipation
