Epic home win for Roses!

Towcester Roses stormed to a 69-0 win against top of the league Bishops Stortford.

Both teams came to the match unbeaten in the league, so it was essential the ladies played well - and they certainly did!

The forwards and backs both played superbly with big carries, strong tackling, good ball and football skills leading to 11 try to nil win.

Bishops Stortford never gave up and the Roses had to work hard especially in the last quarter to keep the opposition from scoring.

It was a total team effort and all would be very proud of the team on Sunday.

It was an honour for the ladies to pay their respects to Tows legend John Tustain before the game, and the team really appreciated the support from the sidelines.

Forward of the match was Rebecca Nolan who as always had a very strong game with brilliant carries.

Back of the match was Gemma Smith for her excellent tries.
