A tough day at the office

Today certainly wasn't easy but there were lots of positives. Missing 9 players made it an uphill battle and with no subs made it harder but the lads fronted up, a debut try from Ben D, positive play and captaining from Ben P, a very assured performance from Matt W at flyhalf despite us being in the backfoot for most of the game, some very strong scrum and ruck work from the forwards and in particular from the back row of Matt G, Harry and Joe. And for the record: we won the scampi fries boat race in the club after. We made a few friends today and look forward to the return fixture when we play them again.
