Full Time: Chorley 1-0 City

In a tight and cagey affair, at a rainy Victory Park, Chorley ran out winners through a 62nd minute winner through Scott Leather.

City were determined and resolute and snuffed out endless pressure from the hosts until the breakthrough in the 62nd minute.
The ball fell at Scott Leather's feet around 12 yards out, he turned and slotted it into the bottom corner, leaving Ethan Ross helpless.

Up until that point, it seemed as luck was on City's side as Ross denied Jason Walker from the penalty spot, midway through the first half.

Unfortunately, City couldn't find a way through Chorley's strong midfield and back line and fell to defeat on the road.
