Arnold Town suffered their fifth league defeat in a row yesterday in what was their worst ever result in twenty-nine years since they joined forces with Arnold Kingswell back in 1989 and were rebranded as Arnold Town FC.

The home side’s faithful had to suffer an eleven goal drubbing, this following on from a 6-1 home defeat against Graham St Prims only seven days ago in their first home game of the season.

Unfortunately due to work and other commitments a full match report is unavailable, as far as I know at present, and so we are just left with the stats, provided below, by Ian Parker.

Top scorer Curtis Millward was on target from the spot just after half time to score for the Eagles to make it 1-3 but then the visitors ran away with the game...

It’s going to be a hard job lifting everyone’s moral in time for Monday’s local derby against the Miners, again here at Eagle Valley.
