Aveley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of James Love from Brightlingse Regent.

We are delighted to announce the signing of versatile player James Love or ‘Luvvey’ from Bostik Premier League side Brightlingsea Regent, where James opted to re-join former manager James Webster at Parkside.

He is joining the Millers on the back of a fantastic season for Brightlingsea in the Bostik Premier and he was awarded players’ player of the season which just shows what type of player we have joining us at Parkside for the upcoming 2018/19 season.

Love, 26, in his time in senior football he has played every single position. He started his career in the youth system at Brentwood Town where he made his first team debut at just the age of 17. He was a key component in the Brentwood team that gained promotion to the Bostik Premier Division a few years back.

Luvey has also represented Heybridge Swifts, Chelmsford City, AFC Hornchurch and as mentioned above Brightlingsea Regent who he joined after a spell playing for Australian outfit Stratford Dolphins. His all action style is sure to go down well with the growing Millers faithful!

Millers Boss James Webster had this to say on capturing James Love. “I’m really pleased to get Luvey at Parkside, over the course of the coming season his fantastic versatility will prove to be a major asset.”

See James in action next season by purchasing your season ticket from the attachment below or email aveleyfcmedia@gmail.com or call Craig on 07946438540.
