Barkingside finally won again tonight and what a game to win against our closest rival at the foot of the table Erith & Belvedere.

The boys put in another excellent shift, this time thankfully they got their just rewards with a vital 3 points to follow on from the point against promotion chasers Needham Market on Saturday.

Chas Liddiard fired the blues ahead on 7.mins before Steve Carvell scored his 2nd goal in 3 days in the 33rd minute. Left-back Charlie Rolls effectively ended the game as a contest when he put us 3-0 up in the 41st minute and into dreamland.

To be fair we took our foot of the gas in the second-period, allowing Erith to dictate the play more. However it was a very very welcome 3 points & every at the club breathed a huge sigh of relief that we have finally got a win our first since november,but full praise to all the players & the management team for an absolute huge result tonight
