Another outstanding performance

Clitheroe have no answer to 'Burn's strong attack.

Cracking display by our lads today, Johnny H starting proceedings with a storming run right through the opposition for the first of his brace, his other being the last play an hour later, when he picked a fine line off Tom F in a set move that has cost many a good team 5 points this season. Clitheroe were the latest team to be taken to pieces by Tobi, who was rested/switched position after another 6 tries, but still managed to get over for another couple. Captain Tom scored 2 meat pies, rare enough for the play maker an architect supreme, so good to see him finishing the season with a healthy tally. Another solid, key performer is Seb though his unstinting work for his mates rarely sees him over the whitewash, though not so today. Jacob, Lewis, Arthur, Josh and Lucas all got tries against a spirited Clitheroe outfit, who never gave up, their skipper Owen getting one back before half time.
While the score racked up beyond the 30 point margin, the work rate across the squad was nothing more than excellent, scrum halves Ivan and Calum creating fantastic opportunities across the park, Michael P dominating at scrum and in the loose, Tom and Ted covering well and new Calum putting in a decent shift. Harry had an excellent game, enjoying a good run out against his school team mates, taking on the lads of his similar stature and knocking them back.
With such a one sided game, we did experiment with lads playing out of position, set pieces and defensive alignments that the boys were happy to take on and work hard with. Looking forward to the final couple of games - should be great to watch!
