Great Scott!!

By

A brace of hatricks

Bodorgan were looking for a reaction after their drubbing v Caergybi the previous Saturday. Despite several first choice players unavailable hopes of a decent score line were high. It was Arriva FC that took the lead with the Bodorgan defence caught flat footed. Scot Hughes was on fire and slotted home. Bodorgan tried hard but Scot Hughes was unstoppable and latched onto two more loose balls and slotted home. It was 3 v 0 at the break and although Bodorgan passed it through the midfield better the attack was not really causing many issues for Arriva. The game was another bad experience for the Bodorgan players. There was a fair amount of good fortune for Arriva but they made their own luck. Scott was not looked after and tore Bodorgan to bits with the Arriva midfield looking to feed him in continuously. Scott scored three more before the had working Luke Gardiner scored for Bodorgan. It was too little too late. Finally Mark Williams finished the game for Arriva to take home an easy 3 points. Hard lessons have been learnt by Bodorgan. Standards are high in the Anglesey league. To compete against the best Bodorgan have to get their best players to show on a regular basis. No prisoners for Bodorgan next..
