BRONCOS WIN THE SILVER SALVER

Today Broncos u14s took on Crosfields at home to win the Silver Salver Comp,. After a talk with the coaches Steve and Sean to fire up the guys. They started playing down hill at a lightning pace. Crosfield kick off was cought by Charlie R who made 40 meters then Jack J hooked the ball to Mike L who with pace and strenth broke through Crosfield defence running to try under the post. Fron the kick off Jack J caught and passed to big Charlie H who carried the ball almost 70 meters with 2 Crosfield players handing from him, as the tackle was called Clifford H scooted the ball and with his blistering pace left Crosfield in his dust to touch down in the right corner, Jack J kicking his second conversion making it 12 nil after only 5 mins,.
The game carried on in the same vain with the broncos defence rock solid and another 2 tries by Mike L and another by Clifford H, Jack kicking 2 fron 3 making it 28-0 at half time.
Second half was a hard fought battle with both teams defences solid burys midfield of Harry O Josh and Taylor holding fast it was not until 20 mins, in that that a fast take from hooker Chrlie R was passed along the line to winger Ryan who staying on the line ran the full pitch to put down in corner. credt to Crosfield they never stopped pushing finaly getting their reward with a well worked try. From the kick Crosfield fumbled and there to put the final nail in the coffin was Clifford H with Jack J kicking the last to make it 6 from 7 for him.

Final score 40 - 6 to Broncos refs scor 38-4 missed 2 last kicks off ?
