Caithness u15’s 92 v Ellon u15’s 0
The u15 team got off to a winning start to the season despite being short of players attending the tattoo in Inverness, and having to draft in some u14 players to make up the numbers, unfortunately Ellon was short of players as well and ended up borrowing a couple from the hosts to even up the teams.
Some powerful runs from Jordan Miller, Max Paul, Ben Miller and Stuart Kirk for scores and both Michaels Elder and Macgregor putting in a power of work in the loose and with Craig Kennedy making two great conversions from the touchline despite the blustery conditions.
Although the team had no passengers, they will need to work on playing as a team rather than 15 individuals as tougher games lie ahead.
Starting with Ross Sutherland this Sunday in Invergordon.
