Talented batsman Jack Williams secured his place in the U12 squad while promising bowler Caleb Spencer was named in the U11s.

Joshua Jacob John joins the younger Kaimal brother in the U10 squad.

There were also places in the North East Wales girls squad for Ela Clos-Sharp and Georgia Wade Jones.

Junior coach Oliver Yates said: "A few players were unlucky to miss out at the trials but it's a great achievement for so many youngsters from Carmel to make it through.

"Hopefully they can develop their skills and most of all continue to enjoy playing."

Weekly training for the club's junior players begins on Sunday, February 5th at Holywell Leisure Centre from 13.00-15.00.
