Langston reaches half century as Lincoln pay the penalty.
A game of three spot kicks saw Chasetown take a step on the long road to Wembley.
Chasetown took the initiative in a lacklustre first half. Midway through the half, Jon Beaumont tested keeper Michael Emery with a first time effort which was the closest either side had come.
The hosts almost broke the deadlock in the final minute of the first half as a George Cater effort struck the base of the post.
The opener though came in first half stoppage time. Danny Cocks was tripped as he was about to get a shot away and captain Jack Langston rolled the penalty home for his 50th Scholars goal.
Lincoln started the second half brightly and forced an early save from Curtis Pond and then had an effort cleared off the line at the end of a goalmouth scramble.
The Whites were then awarded a spot kick for handball despite the Chasetown defender receiving treatment for a head injury in that incident.
But Matt Cotton converted to Pond's left.
Midway through the second half Scott Matthews conceded a second penalty for another foul on Cocks and Langston made no mistake again.
Chasetown had chances to sew the game up when Emery raced out of his goal and Cater was flattened by Matthews who only received a yellow card. While Michael Jacklin was lucky to only see yellow as the last man when Cater was pulled to the ground from a Pond free-kick.
Lincoln created plenty of half chances but Pond was well marshalled by his defence and it's Chasetown in the next round.
