Billy bound for Australia for Wales Students

Congratulations to Chester Gladiators' prop Billy Forrester has been included in the Wales Students squad for the 2017 Student Rugby League World Cup.

Billy has worked tirelessly in pursuit of a place in the national squad and his dedication has been rewarded with a call-up for what is a fantastic opportunity for the Gladiators forward where links up with former Chester team-mate Aled Davies.

The Student Rugby League World Cup is being played in Sydney between July 7th and 16th. The tournament is being staged in the Parramatta and Penrith areas of Sydney, with the final being held at Pepper Stadium, the home of Penrith Panthers.

Wales, who will spend a few days in Brisbane to prepare for the tournament, have been drawn in Group B and will begin their campaign against Scotland before facing England.

Everyone at Chester Gladiators would like to congratulate Billy and Aled and wishes both of them the best of luck.
