To make 6 wins on the bounce

Cleethorpes Town go in search of 5 wins on the trot in the league, 6 in all competitions. The players have had there warm up game in the week as they made the final of the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy at the end of the season.

Since Boxing day Cleethorpes have gone on this winning run and this confidence was seen on Wednesday by allowing the ball to do the work and whilst the visitors had chances, there was one chance that was scored and Cleethorpes scored as Alex Flett a player who came through the ranks of the club until the age of 14 before returning later after he left Bradford City.

So Saturday they go to Stocksbridge Park Steels located north of Sheffield as Cleethorpes make one of their shortest trips of the season as they visit the Look Local Stadium that over looks Stocksbridge on the edge of the peak district, so wrap up warm if you are travelling to the game.

Stocksbridge recent form has seen them draw 3 and losing 2 in the last 5 games, which has seen them drop down the table to 10th as Cleethorpes have risen to 3rd but both sides know there will be plenty of ups and downs in the table to come.

The previous meeting saw a 1-1 draw at Bradley in October as Clee scored first through Luke Mascall before it was cancelled out 12 minutes later as Joe Lumsden equalised for Stocksbridge in the first game between the 2 sides.

Cleethorpes will be looking to earn the points ahead of another busy week.
