Darren Long's squad face the reality of Irchester United after the drama of Crystal Palace last week.

Thursday 13th December 2018

NORTHANTS SENIOR YOUTH LEAGUE-WEST DIVISION
COGENHOE UNITED U18 v IRCHESTER UNITED U18

The Youth team return to action with a home league game on Thursday (7-45pm) as they face Irchester United for the first time this season. The Romans are level with the Cooks on six points, but Cogenhoe have a massive four games in hand after their amazing F.A Youth Cup run. Both wides have won twice so far in the league and coincidentally they have both beaten bottom club Raunds Town home and away, although our goal difference is much better as we beat them 7-0 away and 6-1 at home, while Irchester have been more modest, winning 3-1 at home and 3-2 at Kiln Park last time out.
It would be great for the lads to see a decent crowd come and watch them in their ‘day-job’ after supporting them through their glamour games of late and the they would very much appreciate it too.

Where next?

Cooks return home with a local derby against Whitworth tomorrow. Both our senior sides take on the bottom clubs as we look for some early Christmas presents.
Eynesbury trip for Jake's boys. Cogenhoe travel to St Neots tomorrow while the Reserves entertain Rothwell Corinthians as the club returns to normal after Thursday night.
