Nomads are impressive vs Llandudno.
By Ben Nash
Nomads starting to hit great form.
Nomads started very brightly and were 3-0 up within the first 10 minutes, some great football saw Iago Scott get a couple of early goals. The first third finished 4-1 with nomads well in control and looking very good going forward, 2 trialists doing well, Hughes and McQue were linking well on the left, with Scott and Liam Ellis pulling strings in the centre.
Nomads started the second third in similar fashion, Liam Ellis and Ellis McQue linking well getting the ball switched from central areas into wide areas, the introduction of Cronshaw, Hays and Whittingham gave Nomads fresh legs, with the latter 2 getting their name on the score sheet with some brilliant team goals.
The best goal of the third was a Nomads counter attack started with McQue at left back, fed the ball up to Cronshaw on the right wing who slipped Hayes in, Hayes beat his man and faked to shoot at the angle, only to square the ball into the path of Hughes to fire home.
The last third saw only 1 goal, a good finish from close range from Heath, who was brilliant all game both at right back and right wing.
A good win for the young nomads, man of the match was Ellis McQue, playing in a relatively new position at left back, not like you could tell as he was assured on the ball, looking to play forward whenever possible.
McQue also produced some brilliant runs from left back, one time doing a triple step over to beat his man and get a shot off.
