Severe weather conditions helped Under 8's lose their first match of the season

Dearne Valley Bulldogs under 8s lost their first game of the season away to West bowling in severe weather conditions.

It was snowing from the start of the game until the end. This was a very cold day and this put a few players off from playing as they are not used to these conditions yet. However, saying that alot of players soldiered on despite the blistering weather.
This game was never going to be easy but we tried our hardest and got a well deserved try by man of the match Tom Malkin. A special mention had to go out to the five players who stayed on all of the game and these players were Thomas Askew, Tom Malkin, Andrew Gill, Jack Jones and Rowan Pegg making his debut
Hopefully next Sunday we will have better weather and we are at home next week so this will be alot better thanks for coming and keep up the good work.
