Former Wrexham AFC Youth Team captain signs for Denbigh

18 yr old Scott McHarrie has been with Wrexham Football club Academy from a very young age and captained the under 19yrs Youth Team. He has also played for Wrexham Reserves and has been pondering his next move. A number of clubs were aware of the situation and expressed interest but we are delighted that Dewi and Matty have moved quickly to impress upon Scott that the team for him is Denbigh Town FC.

Matty told us " This is a fantastic signing for the club. I've worked closely with Scott for a number of years and know exactly what he can bring here. He's energetic and has bags of quality. He has created a lot of interest and to secure his signature is fantastic at this stage of the close season. "

Scott is equaly happy at the situation and said " I captained the Youth Team and played for Wrexham Reserves and needed to continue to push on but needed the right club. I have known Matty for a while now and after speaking to him feel Denbigh is the right move and hope I can progress here. I am also very grateful for the chance to show what I can do and am looking forward to the challenge."

It was very nice of Cledwyn Ashford former Welsh Schools F.A. chairman and welfare officer at Wrexham to contact the club saying " You have an excellent player there. A box to box midfielder with an eye for goal and an excellent range of passing. A great signing for your club! "

Welcome Scott. Nice talking to you and see you soon.
