Town lose to late injury time goal

Denbigh Town Res 0-1 Colwyn Bay Reserves

A thoroughly entertaining game at Central Park was decided deep into injury time by virtually the last kick of the game by Colwyn Bay’s Andy Booker.

Despite the game being goalless until Booker’s winner it was an end to end affair with both teams having several chances within the 90 minutes to claim the points. But neither teams could find that winning touch.

Denbigh played some great football at times and had their chances with Graham Owen, Lewis Jenner and Andy Thomas all going close , but they just could not find that vital goal. And then came the cruel finish with the late goal.
