Quite how Denbigh Town Reserves lost this game is a question the players will be asking themselves for weeks to come. It was a game they dominated from start to finish and yet found themselves losing the game. Credit must go to Conwy's keeper Antoni Sarnowski who had an outstanding game bringing off many fines saves during the game and he foiled great attempts from Stuart Vernon, Billy Holmes, Andy Thomas and Sion Jones.
Conwy took the lead in the first half and went in 1-0 at half time. Sion Jones equalised during the second half only for Conwy to snatch the winner.
Manager Kev Roberts said after the game " This is football sometimes. Our lads played so well tonight and had so many efforts. We limited Conwy to just a few chances which they capitalised on and took their chances."
