We Will Remember Them

By Liam Hickey

The club honoured all those that lost their lives in the two World Wars prior to Saturday's game against Hendon.

The club paid its respects with a short service in the Boardroom at the club's war memorial.

Chairman Jack Payne reminded all those present of the sacrifices made by so many in the two World Wars prior to laying the first wreath.

Wreaths were laid at the club's War Memorial on behalf of the club owners and employees, the Committee on behalf of the club officials, players & Football management, the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters' Trust & the Hamlet Historian team.

In the two World Wars many Dulwich players sacrificed their tomorrows so that we may all have ours and so we will never forget them, especially at this time of year.
