Dulwich got off to their customary slow start as Weston passed the ball neatly without looking threatening, and when Dulwich eventually gained possession Nathan Ferguson saw his ball over the top just skid away from Nyren Clunis. After the visitors had wasted a good crossing opportunity, The Hamlet took a 9th minute lead. The ball was threaded through to Gavin Tomlin on the left and he passed square for Dominic Vose to fire high past Purnell.

Having got his first goal for the club, Vose came within inches of a second goal five minutes later, but his shot flew just the wrong side of the post. However. The Hamlet we re unconvincing and Byrne should have done better when presented with an unchallenged shooting opportunity on the edge of the Dulwich penalty area.

The visitors deservedly equalised in the 27th minute when poor defending allowed them to swiftly break down their left hand side and Hill fired high into the goal when the ball was cut back to him. Dulwich looked shaky at the back and Preston Edwards had totip over a header from Bower five minutes before half time, whilst the same player put a free header wide of the post from no more than 6 yards out.

Half Time 1-1

Dulwich opened the second half must more positively. Purnell had to save from Vose, before a fine flowing move on the left involving Vose, Chambers and Green saw the ball cut back for Nathan Ferguson to give Dulwich a 49th minute lead. Then just two minutes later, Dulwich had a third goal. Nathan Green surged into the box and was shoved over; Ashley Carew converted the penalty.

However, Dulwich didn't push on, and within a minute of going two goals in front Byrne wasted a good chance to reduce the deficit. With far too much space in midfield Weston always looked like they could get another goal, but it was Dulwich who nearly added a fourth goal in the 64th minute. Nyren Clunis accelerated past a defender and fired inches wide of the far post.

Clunis then missed a glorious chance to make the game safe when he fired wide from 10 yards after another surging Nathan Green run and Weston then struck twice to draw level.

Firstly, Magnus Okuonghae dived in to concede a penalty that Lucas converted and then the same player turned in a low cross to bring the visitors an unlikely point.

Final Score 3-3
