Four players from the Ignatians' U17s squad, Sam Bucknall, Ryan Browne, Miles Wotherspoon and Henry Pritchard, successfully represented Middlesex in the county's win against an International Schools side at Staines on Saturday.
The same quartet also made second-half appearances in Ignatians' 60-14 away win at Stockwood Park 24 hours later. In a ten try romp, Ryan Browne (three), Sam Pennicott (two), Dan McDermott (two), Angus Ryan, Maurice Nwakor and Paul Duke all crossed the line. Paul Duke also added five conversions as Ignatians added to the home win against the same opposition.
Team spokesman Shaun Duke said: "Stockwood Park proved to be a very physical side. However, once we started to move the ball around, and got width on our game, we started to open them them up and it was a very fluent performance."
Ignatians also have a pre-Easter tour to East Anglia to look forward. They face Ipswich in the first game on Saturday, and have two fixtures against Lowestoft & Yarmouth and North Walsham 24 hours later. There will be no travelling to North Walsham as Ignatians face the latter two teams at Lowestoft & Yarmouth.
