Falkland Won by 58 Runs
Falkland had a comfortable win in the quarter final of the Three Counties Cup at Falkland on Tuesday night.
George Gallagher won the toss and decided to bat, and after Steven Meikle and Adam Ferguson got the team off to a solid start, Harsha Cooray came in and scored a fine century containing 20 4s to take Falkland to a fairly impregnable 207 in their 20 overs.
Perth Doocot were never likely to reach that total and fell 58 runs short in spite of a good knock from Faisal Ali. Falkland's bowling was generally tight, although a disturbing amount of Wides (20) were given away in the latter stages of the game by the younger bowlers.
