NEW SIGNING Sam Lawford has told how he was attracted to the club by Ray Turner's ambition and willingness to play youngsters.
“He is not afraid to play young players, which is what I'm looking for” Sam Lawford, StrikerStriker Sam, 18, signed from Gillingham after three years there as an apprentice as one of five new faces brought in as the club prepares to mount another promotion push.
Speaking in his first video interview since signing, Sam said: "It seems to be a club that's developing quite quickly.
"Speaking to Ray, he is not afraid to play young players in the team, which is what I'm looking for."
