RESULT - Bridlington Town 2-1 Garforth Town

A dramatic last ten minutes saw Garforth cruelly defeated on the opening day of the season at Bridlington Town.

Garforth dominated the game and should have had it wrapped up before Joe McFadyen struck the first of his two goals on 82 minutes.
Devonte Morton continued his goalscoring run with an equaliser five minutes later, but McFadyen had the last say with a 90th minute winner for Brid.

Brid manager Curtis Woodhouse summed up his teams' incredible luck by stating "even Dick Turpin wore a mask".
