RESULT - Goole AFC 1-4 Garforth Town

Garforth kicked off the festive season with a resounding win at relegation threatened Goole.
After slipping behind to an early Dan Barrett strike, goals from Lee Turner and Mark Simpson late in the first half turned things round.

Simpson added a penalty shortly after the restart and a Goole red card soon after sealed their fate.
Joe Colley weighed in with the final goal for the Miners, but there many more chances to add to Gooles woes, with Morton, Simpson, Turner and Thompson all coming agonisingly close.
