The Second Round of games took place in Lancashire/Cheshire Two North on Saturday.
Garstang lost away at New Brighton in an entertaining game and the match report can be read here: https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/garstangrufc/teams/92821/match-centre/1-3649593
Elsewhere, the league is already starting to take shape and three teams lead the way with ten points from the first two games. Aspull scored half a century for the second week on the trot as they overwhelmed Marple by 52-10, Eccles won 36-17 at home to Port Sunlight and Orrell got a convincing 43-19 away at Birchfield. In the other game Congleton comfortably saw off Oswestry by 45-3.
The correct league table can be seen in the image attached to this article (Pitchero seems fraught with technical difficulties in transferring the data from the RFU site).
The league now takes a break for a week before being resuming on 22nd September.
