Glossop are Derbyshire Club of the Year, again !

Glossop Juniors were shortlisted finalists for Derbyshire Club of the Year at the Derbyshire Sports awards at the Roundhouse in Derby .

We are delighted to announce we have retained the award we won last year amongst tough competition.

This is real honour for everyone associated with our fantastic club. We have grown to 365 girls and boys, 29 teams and 60 coaches. Our aim is to develop all our players into the best players they can be, playing at the highest level they can, in a fun, safe and structured development environment , which is consistent across all ages and abilities.

Our motto is Fun + Development = Success and we always put our players first.

This prestigious award recognises all the hard work from everyone on the committee, our players and parent support.

We would also like to thank Derbyshire FA and Derbyshire Sport for their continued support and Derby Telegraph and Choice Health Clubs for their sponsorship of this fantastic event for our county.

Natalie Mills ( School Liaison Officer and under 10's girls manager) and Ben Mills ( PR Co ordinator, FDC member and under 11's manager) were delighted to accept the award on the clubs behalf in Derby .
