Dan thought Marc was writing it, Marc thought Dan was writing it. In the end, no-one did.
Ben Gilkes scored his 3rd try of the season, and Rick Green scored his first try since coming back to the club after a decade in hockey, and on his birthday no less.
Not sure the defeat was a fair reflection, but Wheatley had too many good players in key positions (not insinuating anything, but their 1s didn't have a game) and GAB left too many opportunities out on the field, especially in the 2nd half. Then again so did Wheatley, although most of that was down to man-of-the-match Dan Rae and his defensive work at full back.
