Game on as Ellistown following their recent failed fixture raise a team to play Prim's. An action packed first half saw Prim's take the lead in the fifteenth minute when Toby Howard scored from the penalty spot. Howard followed up with two more goals to give Prim's a 3-0 lead, however Ellistown had provided their travelling supporters with evidence that they were up for the challenge when twice in as many minutes they crashed the ball against the Prim's cross bar with unerring accuracy, before ex-Prim's player Mitch Williams broke free of his marker placing his shot beyond the reach of Adam Binks in the Prim's goal. Game on Ellistown buoyed by the goal pushed the Prim's defence hard however this only resulted in a further chance for Toby Howard to score his fourth goal and Prim's young captain Jack Tyson to wrap up the half with a special left foot volley from just outside the Ellistown penalty area.
HT Prim's 5-1 Ellistown.
Prim's expecting a back lash from the first half weren’t to be disappointed as Ellistown gave a good account of themselves throughout a more evenly balance half. Neither side creating any certain goal scoring chances during a busy but goal less half. Prim's gained vital points from the game in their quest to move away from the foot of the table, whilst Ellistown looked doomed to relegation.
FT Prim's 5-1 Ellistown.
