West Bridgford

On an early November Saturday, we travelled out to Nottinghamshire to the home of West Bridgford fc, on an afternoon with all the elements going on, rain, wind and a very cool afternoon. West Bridgford to be fair had struggled of late and were languishing 3rd bottom. Whereas Prims had got off to a flyer, but subsequently our form had dipped, and we were just above mid table.

There we have it, 2 minutes in Kev Morrow
delicately chipped the keeper to put us 1 up, however a minute later, West Bridgford equalised with a free kick into the box, which found its way into the net, with every Prims player looking at it.
In a first half with very little quality, and no
goalmouth action, I would say West Bridgford saw more of the ball, yet in the 42nd minute Mikey Fitzhugh pulled out a little trick, to side step the defender, to slot in at the far post,
however it may of took a deflection. So at the break Prims were 2-1 up.

The second half kicked off in much the same vain as the first half had, but in the 56 th minute, Kev Morrow found himself wide on the right, and cutting in to cross the ball with his left foot, for this to do as West Bridgford had done in the first half, curling in un touched into the back of the net.
Now Kev was on the hunt
for his hat trick, and deservedly
came in the 80 th minute, as he ran through on goal to round the keeper and slide home into an empty net.

A good afternoon for Prims and a much needed win, but the endeavour, energy and willingness of Kev Morrow was the highlight of the game.
