Luther Wildin and Danny Meadows returned to The Gingerbreads starting line up. Also they welcomed on loan midfielder Harry Gibbons on the bench from Notts County.
Grantham started brightly and Felipe Barcelos had the first chance in the opening minute.
The match was 8 minutes old when The Gingerbreads took the lead. Lee Shaw picked up the ball on the edge of the box and curled the ball in.
Michael Hollingsworth went off injured after fouling Ibou Touray. The referee booked him while leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
Nantwich were level on 26 minutes. Harry Clifton saw his shot saved, Nantwich played the ball long which The Gingerbreads could not deal with and John Johnston finished the move.
Halftime came with everyone ready for a breather as for the rest of the half both sides looked dangerous.
The second half was no different with chances falling to both sides but resolute defending made sure that the points were shared. The point also meant that The Gingerbreads moved up to 6th in the table.
