On behalf of Grimsby Borough Football Club, I invite you and your team to take part in our first Grimsby Borough FC Invitation 6-a-side tournament.

The tournament takes place at ST. James playing field; entrance is situated opposite the Wheatsheaf pub and is open to all age groups between U7’s and U14’s based on 2016/17 season. The tournament will be held over two days:

Saturday 24th June will see the following age groups participating - U7’s[5 aside], U9’s, U11’s, U13’s; and Sunday 25th June will see the other age groups participating: - U8’s[5 aside], U10’s, U12’s and U14’s.

The cost per team entered is only £25 (cheques payable to Grimsby Borough FC). Teams will be entered on a first come first served basis, (you will be notified within 7 days of your application if unsuccessful, and cheques returned accordingly). Due to the potential popularity of this tournament it is advisable to send in your entry application at the earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment – all we ask is that in the first instance you detach the tear off slip below and forward it with your payment. There will be a limited number of places available per age group. When your application has been received you will receive a confirmation e-mail, so please ensure you provide your e-mail address on the slip below.

On the day of the tournament please ensure you are registered at the control desk within the pavilion by 9.30am. You will be asked to submit a squad sheet for each team entered, and then you will receive rules - (minimum of 6 players, maximum of 10 for 6 aside and minimum of 5 players and maximum 9 for 5 aside).

First matches will kick off at 10am with the final presentations complete by about 4pm latest.

There will be a car parking on day of £2 which will also include a programme.

Refreshments will be available on day.
