Guilsfield were awarded with goals after this excellent display against high flying Flint.
We went into the match with Robbie James restored to the heart of the defence.
The first half was a closely fought affair with both sides slugging it out as the playing surface became increasingly tricky.
The second half sparked to life on 52 mins after a good spell of home pressure leading to Stuart Rogers threading home a great shot into the top right hand corner of the net.
Flint responded with a couple of chances, one of which was a header which went just wide of the post. Thereafter the Guils were on top, especially after scoring two goals within a minute. Both goals resulted from excellent team play, with George Clifton scoring the second on 79 mins after some neat inter play in front of the 18 yard box leading to George's first goal of the season. Adam Jenkins sealed the win a minute later with a lovely curling effort.
The result wiped away Flint's 5 match winning streak and gave us a little jump up the table. Next Saturday we welcome Welsh Premier League leaders Connah's Quay in the third round of the JD Welsh Cup.
