In a very enjoyable and competitibve match the Lions went down to a much changed Hampstead side. Less than a month after the Lions had smashed Hampstead 50-10 in the merit table cup Harrow hosted a much changed Hampstead side in the merit table. (Maybe the fact that one of their higher sides who didn't have a fixture made might have have made some difference to their personnel). Nevertheless the Lions didn't help themselves when Hampstead arrived without a hooker by offering Stuart Nurse to help them out. By common consent which included the referee, Stuart was the outstanding player on the field playing his first full competitive match for over two years and rampaging in both the tight and loose, causing major problems for the Lions all over the field. The match was competitve throughout but the superior backs of Hampstead helped by the "the Stauart Nurse show" saw a win to our opponents by 17-36
Next week the Lions travel to Old Ashmoleans where hopefully a place can be found for Stuart this time in a Harrow shirt where he belongs
