The Owls quickly added a second try when Kim Hutchins broke free and scored after good line out ball took Southwold by surprise from their 10m line, the conversion was missed.

From the ensuing kick off Bear Haywood made a surging run to off load to Kim Hutchins on the sideline to round the last defender and touch down under the posts, Sophia Tricker converted the score for a 19-0 lead.

The next try came when fly half Annalise Allan kicked from halfway behind the Southwold defensive line the kick was followed up well and Southwold gave away a penalty 7m out, after a quick tap and go and a couple of phases of recycled ball, Sam Wilmott debuting in the centres, crashed over the try line, Allan converted for a 26-0 half time score.

With the home side tiring the second half started as the first finished, great runs by Naomi Dobner and Sophia Tricker put The Owls deep in the Southwold half a smart pass to Sam Wilmott saw her step inside the last defender and score her second try of the day, Allan converted for a 33-0 lead.
The hosts found themselves trapped inside their own half and when Harwich were awarded a 5m scrum after being held up, a scything line by Kim Hutchins saw her beat one defender and drag another over the line to touch down for her hat trick, the conversion was missed.

More sustained pressure from The Owls put Southwold on the back foot inside their 22 and after being awarded a penalty close to the 5m line three quick pick and goes by the forwards eventually had scrum half Abi Cutts sniping around the side of the ruck to score, the conversion missed but the Harwich lead was now 43-0.

Annalise Allan secured ball on the halfway line and stepped round the covering defenders to sprint away untouched to score, Sophia Tricker converted to make it 50-0.
