Ugo Monye and England Rugby stars surprise Moortown RUFC
This month was a real surprise for our unsuspecting November winners - Moortown RUFC. From Leeds, they’d travelled down to Pennyhill Park, England’s training centre, for a unique coaching day.
While they knew Ugo Monye would be there, they didn’t expect to find out that their coaches for the day included England Rugby players Owen Farrell, Danny Care and Ben Youngs!
Moortown RUFC were chosen for creating a great rugby environment – not only do they provide a real family atmosphere, they’re also a fully inclusive club. Here, kids from all backgrounds enjoy playing rugby together. Owen Farrell: “It’s been brilliant to come down and be a part of this. They are a really family-orientated club and you can definitely see that.”
