The Brookies set to make it 4 wins a row face a strong well organised hard working Swanwick team at the APC Sealants Sports Ground.
Holbrook lost the toss and was made to switch sides playing down the hill first half. The boys in blue started slow and found themselves 2 nil down after 10 minutes and up against it. Chris Dring was fouled just inside the area and William Booth pointed straight to the spot, Isaac Anderson stepped up and calmly slotted home making the score 1-2 after 20 minutes. Holbrook picked themselves up and believed they had Swanwick in their sites pressing and working hard Aaron Coyle fired home 24th minute to equalise. Holbrooks tails was up and playing some fantastic football. Charlie Anthony and George Johnson running the midfield putting their heart and soul into every kick, header and certainly tackles. The hard work paid off as Chris Dring cracks one from 25 yards out to put The Brookies ahead after being 2 nil down.
The half time whistle came at the right time for Swanwick as Holbrook was on fire.
Start of the second half Swanwick came hard moving up a gear, Charlie Anthony found himself go in the book for making a hard but fair tackle, just reminding the Swanwick team Holbrook mean business. New signing Adam Robley made his appearance coming on for Jake Davis after 65 minutes. George Johnson joined his CM partner in the book being the second holbrook player booked.
Swanwick found themselves level after 69 minutes after a goal line scramble, Sam Beardsley making a save, Matt Pearce clearing but a ricochet fell to the Swanwick player who took advantage. Holbrook still looked the better side but Keeper Sam Beardsley was called into action to keep the scores level. 89th Minute Swanwick scored to take the lead for the second time and surely take 3 points.
Danny Mee was picked out from a free kick at the back post to make the scores level for the third time and send the Holbrook bench into a frenzy. Matt Pearce took one for the team stopping a attack down the wing and being the final player in Mr Booths book.
Aaron Coyle had a last ditch attack skipping through 4 players but could not get the ball out his feet.
Referee blew his whistle at 94 minutes for what was a very exciting game for any neutral fan.
