The King's Cross Steelers are looking for players of all abilities for the 2017/18 season.

We understand that starting a new sport or picking it up again after many years can be intimidating, so with this in mind we're running a 'Try Rugby' event at 1pm on 21 May 2017.

The day will be a chance for people with very rusty, minimal or no rugby experience to discover/rediscover and explore the sport in a setting which will be supportive of new players.

Here are some of the things you can expect:

• basic rugby drills and game positioning for beginners, ending in a game of touch rugby (so no rough stuff just yet!);
• a chance to meet some of the team players and have a laugh;
• a barbecue to round out the day; and
• all of this is a gay friendly / inclusive environment of course!

All you'll need is some gym kit and outdoor trainers that you don't mind getting a bit muddy. There will be changing facilities at the location.
