Larkhall left the Corinium Stadium in jubilant mood after recovering from going a goal down early on to secure victory and take the three points on offer.
The home side opened the scoring during the 8th minute when Ben Whitehead back headed from a Henry Spalding cross.
The Larks were by far the better footballing side for long periods of the first half, with Alex Lambert shooting wide, Cory Simpson forcing the keeper to palm his effort away, George King seeing a great save, and Dan Restorick heading over.
A rare Cirencester attack saw Adam Connolly shoot just wide of the post before, just minutes from the half time break, a huge chance to equalise fell to Lambert who broke into the box only to see the Cirencester keeper stand tall to save.
Early second half chances fell to both sides before the Larks pulled level midway through when a bullet header by King from a fierce Joe Tumelty cross flew into the back of the net.
With the game now well and truly on Cirencester were unlucky not to regain the lead when Matt Jones hit the angle of post and crossbar after a great one-two.
As the final five minutes approached Cirencester’s Aiden Bennett had a shot saved by Shaun Semmems, from which came a quick Larkhall break that led to Tumelty providing the ball to Lambert who produced a great shot in off the bar to secure the victory.
